Contour Shoe drawing

Drawing the xhoe i thought got significantly better through out the opractices. The shoe looks flat but the way it was positioned this angle was the best way to portray the shoe. The hard part not being able to lift my pen and getting all the stitching in the middle of the shoe and not adding any unnessecary lines. The contour helped my lines look more even and smooth instead of scratchy like a sketch.

iPad art shapes

Not only was working on the iPad much faster when completing the picture but you had a lot better tools to smudge and fuse the colors together. When working on the iPad your able to smudge and get different shades of colors that you wouldn't be able to get with a select few of pastels to work with. I feel that compared to the drawing of shapes that I did on construction paper the one I did on the iPad had much better features. Technology is very important when it comes to art because not all art can be drawn on paper with a pencil or marker or a paintbrush. Art comes in all shapes and forms and technology is the one way we can capture all of that in one precise picture. Plus the iPad gives the drawing a glow you can't get with pastels.

Cartoon Skeleton Drawing

I chose Flit from the movie Pocahontas  when Mrs. Rossi said to choose a character that most people wouldn't think of I knew this would be a great choice. He doesn't have the normal human skeleton as you could tell instead of feet he had a tail, and instead of arms and hands he had wings. This character gave me a bit of a challenge as for his position. The lungs were sideways and were harder to draw. Either way this fun character has the potential of the human skeleton with a few exceptional  improvements.
